Overall I really enjoyed this textbook. It used a variety of illustrations to convey the theories and models, making it easier to understand. Each model was then broken down into its own subsections, diving deeper into the meaning of each part of the model.

Needlessly to say, the models were well explained.

One of the positive aspects of this textbook is the examples listed. The textbook details real-life companies and their human resource practices.

It ties in models and principles to better show the model in use, as well as it's practicability. However, there was two main problems that I had with this textbook: Chapters in this textbook were, on average, about 24 pages; making it a chore to get through weekly. A lot of the text is wordy, too. Much of the text was unnecessary to include. I enjoyed sites availability however hated the book and the way that the information was presented.

It made it difficult to retain what was read.
